This 18-piece orchestra brings forth the great Big Band Afro-Cuban Jazz sound of the 1940's and 50's featuring the music of Mario Bauza, Chico O'Farrill, Machito, Dizzy Gillespie, Tito Puente, Stan Kenton and others. ![]() The world premier of the LatinJazzClub Orchestra The LatinJazzclub Orchestra is led by musician Bobby Ramirez. Flutist, saxophonist, arranger, composer, vocalist, literary writer and publisher of LatinJazzClub Magazine, Bobby Ramirez is a multi-dimentional artist whose talents encompass a peripheral musical vision of the past, present and future. Affectionately known by many music fans worldwide as "El Manisero Del Ritmo" (the peanut vendor) for his joyful entertainment charisma and his ability to perform flavorful Cuban dance music on the flute, Bobby Ramirez's style is a dancer's delight. Artist-In-Residence School Program The LatinJazzClub Orchestra is available for private events and concerts throughout North America and abroad. Musician Bobby Ramirez is also available for concerts as guest soloist with small ensembles or Big Band orchestra, clinics and workshops on Jazz improvization as applied to Latin Jazz, his personal Ritmo Jazz Latino artist-in-residence program and lectures on the history of Latin Jazz.
